2 events,Due to warm daytime and overnight temperatures, Crescent Hill will be closed on February 18th and 19th in order to preserve our base as much as possible. Snowmaking is planned for Thursday and Friday evening, if forecasts hold. Thank you!

On February 18th, Crescent Hill is proud to honor history, service, and strength by participating in the 90-Pound Rucksack Challenge—a powerful tribute to the legendary soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division. Participants will complete 5 hike uphill-ski downhill circuits at Crescent Hill at Hitchcock, symbolizing the 1,500-foot vertical nighttime climb by the 10th Mountain ski troops during World War II, as we raise funds for the Crescent Hill Ski Patrol and the 10th Mountain Division Foundation. |

To allow more time for snowmaking and grooming as we work to replenish our base after high temperatures earlier in the week, Crescent Hill will be observing a late start on Friday, February 20th. Fingers crossed Mother Nature gives us some natural powder to work with, too!

Test your skiing ability to see if you become one of next season’s candidates. Evaluations will be held on the area’s south trails, so practice up! We would love for you to become a proud member of the National Ski Patrol. Join us for our first-ever Snow Yoga session, hosted by talented volunteer Katie Stratman, for this one-of-a-kind yoga experience on the snow. With a focus on gentle standing poses, stretching, and breathing, participants will enjoy a unique and rejuvenating 45-minute yoga experience that relieves stress and muscle tightness. No experience necessary. Pre-registration is required and closes on February 26th. |
